Orange County Economic Overview_Employment update_March 2014Over the month, Orange County gained 8,400 jobs with the following sectors recording the biggest changes: Government (+4,200), Educational and Health Services (+3,300), and Trade, Transportation and Utilities (-1,700). The county has added 31,000 jobs over the year. The county’s unemployment was unchanged at 5.8%, remaining lower than the California (8.5%) and national (6.7%) rates.
