Over the month of April, Orange County gained 3,800 jobs with the following sectors recording the biggest changes: Construction (+2,700); Leisure and Hospitality (+1,100); and Professional and Business Services (+1,000). Between April 2014 and April 2015, Orange County added 50,500 jobs. The County’s unemployment rate improved to 4.1% from 4.4% the month prior, remaining lower than the California (6.1%) and national (5.1%) rates.
