JLL completes 203,510 s.f. deal for Giant Bicycle, Inc.

9-15-15_LMSquare9-15-15_CDSquareJLL represented Giant Bicycle Inc., a global leader in the bicycle industry, in a new lease for 203,510 square feet of industrial space at 15500 Phoebe Avenue in La Mirada, California. Giant Bicycle will be using the space for its West Coast distribution center. Previously, they occupied 106,000 square feet of space in Cerritos.

JLL Orange County’s Luke McDaniel and Cameron Driscoll represented the tenant. The landlord, Oltmans Real Estate Services, was represented by INCO Commercial Brokerage.

“After a comprehensive market analysis, Giant Bicycle decided that this building and location was the best solution for the firm to provide superior service to its customers,” said McDaniel. “The building provides close proximity to the ports of LA and nearby transportation corridors with access to all major West Coast markets.”

Driscoll continued by saying, “With the entire LA basin industrial market at historic low vacancy rates below two percent, finding a quality industrial building was a challenge. With little new construction coming on line in 2015, the Mid-Counties is one of the tightest industrial submarkets in the United States.”
