My ideal day would be spending the day at the French Open with my Dad. I was fortunate to be treated to a trip to the French Open with my Father right after I finished up college, and sharing that experience with him is incredibly special. This year, we are hoping to make it out to the French Open, Wimbledon and then the finish off the year at the U.S. Open. We both were division I collegiate tennis players for our respective universities, and we share a special bond over the sport.
Never-fail source of inspiration?
Rafael Nadal. His “never say die” attitude and his insatiable desire to be the best at his craft in inspiring.
Favorite book or author?
The Great Gatsby
Favorite film or TV show?
Favorite musician/song or genre?
That’s a tough question. I’ll have to go with Daft Punk. I’m a huge fan of electronic music
Favorite local restaurant?
North – I love the atmosphere and not to mention the prosciutto pizza is to die for!
Achieving a national ranking in the top 100 in the country/top 15 in SoCal in the 18 and under division, and receiving a Division I college Scholarship to The George Washington University
Favorite way to spend time alone?
I love traveling and taking at least a day to myself to explore a new city that I’m visiting. I really enjoy being able to spend time alone absorbing the atmosphere and the culture of the city that I’m visiting as I think it enhances the experience.
Best advice for everyone to experience?
Everyone should have the opportunity to travel to at least one new city in the U.S. and/or country. I think that traveling is such a great way to gain exposure to new cultures, belief systems and ways of life that enable to get you outside of your comfort zone and ultimately you broaden your perspective.
Favorite historical figure?
Billie Jean King. She really paved the way for shaping the way that women’s tennis as well as women’s sports are today.
